At Autometa, we strive to ensure complete customer satisfaction with our services. This Refund Policy explains our policies regarding refunds for our subscription plans and services.

1. General Refund Policy

Unless otherwise stated in this policy or required by law:

  • All subscription fees are non-refundable
  • No refunds or credits for partial months of service
  • No refunds for unused time if you cancel mid-billing cycle
  • No refunds for downgrading your plan

This policy applies to all Autometa plans unless superseded by specific offer terms.

2. Subscription Plans

Monthly Plans

  • No refunds after the 14-day money-back guarantee period
  • Cancel anytime - your subscription will remain active until the end of your billing period

Annual Plans

  • 30-day money-back guarantee from date of purchase
  • After 30 days, prorated refunds may be issued at our discretion for unused full months
  • No refunds for partial months

Enterprise/Custom Plans

  • Refund terms specified in your custom contract
  • Typically non-refundable after service commencement

3. Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a limited money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers:

  • 14-day guarantee for monthly plans
  • 30-day guarantee for annual plans

To qualify for a refund under our money-back guarantee:

  • Request must be made within the guarantee period
  • You must not have violated our Terms of Service
  • You must provide a reason for dissatisfaction
  • You must allow us to attempt to resolve your issue first

4. Non-Refundable Services

The following are explicitly non-refundable:

  • Setup or onboarding fees
  • Custom development work
  • Professional services (consulting, training)
  • Third-party costs (API fees, license fees)
  • Any services marked "non-refundable" at purchase

5. Processing Refunds

If you are eligible for a refund:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
  • Processing may take 5-10 business days
  • Bank processing times may add additional delays
  • We reserve the right to issue refunds as account credits

Note: Some payment processors may charge fees that we cannot refund.

6. Special Circumstances

Service Interruptions

For extended service outages (more than 24 continuous hours), we may issue service credits at our discretion.

Billing Errors

If we've made a billing error, we will refund the incorrect amount within 30 days of discovery.

Duplicate Charges

For duplicate charges, we will refund the extra amount upon verification.

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  2. Include your account email and purchase details
  3. Specify the reason for your refund request

We typically respond to refund requests within 3-5 business days.

8. Disputed Charges

If you dispute a charge with your payment provider without first contacting us:

  • Your account may be immediately suspended
  • We may charge a $25 dispute fee
  • Future payments may require manual processing

We reserve the right to challenge unjustified chargebacks.

9. Policy Changes

We may update this Refund Policy periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when changes were made.

Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers via email.
